Morris Museum Of Art
The Morris Museum of Art, located on the Riverwalk in downtown Augusta, Georgia, is the first museum dedicated to the art and artists of the American South. The collection includes holdings of nearly 5,000 paintings, works on paper, photographs, and sculptures dating from the late-eighteenth century to the present. In addition to the permanent collection galleries, the museum hosts eight to ten temporary special exhibitions every year.

Today we are seeing a resurgence, particularly in the older establishments of the city of Augusta, to rediscover not only their organization's history, but also the old buildings in the downtown area in which these organizations call home. The Imperial is no different, and with this in mind we would like to consider this part of the page an ongoing project.

Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre
Our professionally staffed theatre program produces a full season of live theatrical productions to include comedy, drama, musicals , children's theatre, concerts, and special events. We receive enthusiastic support from the community, and usually play to capacity audiences. Most of our theatre performances are done in dinner theatre format.

The museum honors the memory of the greatest comedy pair in history - Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Harlem is a fitting place for the Museum since it is the birthplace of Oliver Hardy. This is also the first museum in the United States ever dedicated to Laurel and Hardy.

Historic Augusta preserves and maintains the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson in order to inform and educate the public as to how Woodrow Wilson's childhood in Augusta, Georgia affected him as he later served as President of the United States.
